My story starts with glitter. And nails. Lots of them. Or should I say, 10 of them over and over and over....

But when you want to get good at something, it takes practice, and a lot of it. I really love nail polish and designs, so I had to practice a lot.

I needed to find higher quality nail polish, that not only lasted longer, but wasn't horrible for your nails, and especially wasn't horrible if you re-did your nails as often as I was doing them. After searching for quite some time, and still not being able to find what I knew should be out there (not to mention - where's all of that high-quality glitter nail polish?!) it was time for a change. And that's when I started down the path of making my own nail polish.

After a LOT of time spent researching, a LOT of polish trial and errors (oh glitter, you got everywhere!), I had it!

Long-lasting, high-quality glitter nail polish that was free of harsh chemicals BUT didn't chip easily. And after working with it for while, it was time to brand it. This is where my husband also came into play.

So, welcome to Bella Bosio! "Bella" is Italian for "beautiful" and "Bosio" (pronounced BO-zi-o) is my Italian family name. And now I really have to live up to high-quality Italian products - which they are just that: very high-quality, and beautiful.

But I felt that was just the beginning. So I finalized getting my Nail Technician license and opened up a small salon, while selling my nail polish in person at markets around the Tampa Bay area. Then, it was time to open my digital shop as well. So, for a couple of years doing nails professionally with mainly my nail polish brand and using gel, too, it was successful over and over again, customer after customer, while selling online with positive feedback and appreciation with repeat customers ordering the same and new items.

My polish is made with care, attention, detail, and is Ten Free. Each bottle is assembled by hand in my own little shop; then the glitter polish itself is mixed together in the same shop in small batches to maintain that high quality for each and every bottle. Then labeled individually and made ready for you.

All with a touch of Italian love! :)
